Colourful World of Opera - An interactive children’s tour for Christian Lacroix the costumier exhibition
Suitable for 7 – 12 years old, Tour dates: 18 April, 23 May, 30 May and 6 June, Time: 5pm – 6pm (Exhibition will be closed to general public during tour time)
$15 per child, $25 for one parent + one child OR two children (Fee are inclusive of exhibition admission)

Join a “live” soprano as she sings to you while leading you through the exhibition, on a discovery tour of fascinating costumes by famous French designer, Christian Lacroix. This is a light-hearted and entertaining tour where you can learn basic etiquette while at the opera, as well as operatic terms and culture associated with this fine art form.

I can be a Fashion Designer! - A creative workshop for parents and children aged 3 to 6 years old
Workshop dates: 12 April, 26 April, 24 May and 7 June, Time: 11am – 12pm or 2pm – 3pm, The Lab, Level 3
$25 for 1 child and 1 adult (Fee inclusive of exhibition admission)

Minimum 8 pairs of participants to start a session, with a maximum of 18 pairs.

Through art and craft, dramatic play, and sing-along sessions, Toybox facilitators will inspire you and your child to create your own designer samples of fashion templates. This fun hands-on session is complete with a tour of the exhibition.

All hail Christian Lacroix - the authority of couturiers, who is also known for defining the look of 1980s with its bright colours and extravagant embellishments.

For the first time in Asia, presenting close to 80 spectacular costumes and 60 sketches from the collection of the Centre National du Costume de Scene and from Lacroix's personal collection, will take centre stage in this exclusive exhibition at NMS.
